In the 1950’s, the second Red Scare ravishedAmericadue to the fear of a Communist take over. The Red Scare brings about many changes from day to day life for the American citizens. The HUAC was established to “control and regulate” these so called “Communist” traitors; created solely to conduct trials against illegitimately accused citizens. Any citizen forced to court took part in what became known as the Hearing’s of the 1950’s. People simply accused of being communist could soon find themselves on the infamous “blacklist,” baring them from the ability to ever have the opportunity to further their careers, or social lives in general.
